HomeWork Inc.
HomeWork Inc, is a Cutchogue-based construction company that focuses on residential building and renovation projects on Long Island. We currently have several projects under construction, including Ground Up Houses in Orient and Shelter Island and others in Riverhead, Cutchogue, Mattituck and Southold; all of which we'd like to have you visit.
We have numerous clients across Long Island who are very pleased with the work we've done for them and would be happy to discuss with you the way we approach, price, organize, build, manage and complete our work, as well as how we maintain contact with those clients in order to service the projects we've built. All of our clients would confirm that our costs are very competitive. We take the time to develop multiple comprehensive iterations of each project's Scope Of Work Cost Breakdown (SOW); often generating and submitting several iterations of any Client's SOW before reaching a final version that they can approve.

My staff and I strongly believe that our initial step in meeting with prospective clients is to offer them our knowledge and experience; to advocate for them and their project and help give them a comprehensive understanding of the Construction Process and all the options possible for their project.

If you're in need of an architect, we work with a broad array of East End based Architects and would be happy to give you their info, or more effectively, meet with them with you to discuss your project. In the course of having them present their capabilities as Design Architects, they will all invariably suggest an array of design ideas, some of which you may not have considered.

Our family lives in Connecticut and has had a Summer house on the North Fork of Long Island for 63 years. Our Summer house faces the bay, with 2 very large decks facing in the direction of the water. Over many years the salt water and salt air have taken their toll on the decks, so we decided it was time to do an overhaul. After doing some research and talking with different contractors, we chose HomeWork Inc. headed by Steven Kaplan. Steven assured us the project would not take too long and weather permitting would happen during the late Fall and Winter months. This Winter was not the friendliest, so it was perfect to have the job done at that time.
